Sharni Vison, a native of Australia and a dancer and actress, was born 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. Sharni Vinson made her debut as an actor in 2001 as she appeared in a role on Home and Away, a soap opera in Australia. In the small role she was in, her acting was such that the casting director wanted to have her play every role. However, she auditioned for the role but was not selected. However, in the same series she played the character Cassie Turner which was a troubled teen who was in foster care. Fans and critics alike praised the role.
