Cecily strong

Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comic and actress, is well known for her role in the role of a cast member in 'Saturday Night Live.' Her first stage experience was in theater, but was drawn to comedy when she was nine following a course in Improv. She hoped to pursue a career as an actor but realized she was in the right place for comedy, and shifted her attention on improv shows. Her first professional gig was on a cruise ship, playing with fellow members of Second City Conservatory & iO Chicago. Strong performed at popular events such as Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest and Virgin Daiquiri, the only female improv group. In 2012, she was huge when she was a part of "Saturday Night Live. She hosted the Weekend Update segment with Seth Meyers initially, and later with Colin Jost. Cecily's greatest moment was in the role of "The girl whom you'd like to not have had conversations with at a gathering'. The year before, she also began her film career with an untitled short film entitled "How to Fund the Uterus'.
