Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American performer and songwriter, hails from St. Louis Missouri. The most famous of her roles is her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's song has appeared in television and film shows such as How to Be a Single and Going the Distance. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister named Sloane Momsen. It is the Center of Creative Arts is where she studied dance. Her first professional performance came when she was three in a national commercial for Shake 'n Bake. Momsen's acting career came to a halt for over three years, until she landed a lead role in the WB program Misconceptions. Momsen was also a part of the moment in Saving Shiloh (2006). In addition, she was one of three leading potential candidates for Hannah Montana's lead role. But, Miley Cyrus was awarded the part.
