Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career as a stage artist during the 1950s beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s she performed as a stage artist in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner' in 1957. Her first music album It's Time for Tina that same year. Louise was first seen as a performer in Hollywood as God's Little Acre a drama that was released in the year 1958. She performed the role of Griselda, a character in the movie. When she was an undergraduate in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious in order to dispel her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director for popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 28th August 1965, her family moved to Toronto when she was three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there as well as her adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down to Toronto since then.
