Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago to two actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances on television in the role of Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in Roseanne, an ABC sitcom Roseanne. However, her parents were not keen to let her perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry she was shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began to perform in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. Perry following her graduation from Boston University moved into New York in search of television roles. Her small part was in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But, her home-sickness drove her to California in search of theater jobs. She performed on Broadway as a part of The Other Place with her mother in 2013. She performed with their father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in 2015 on the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of the ABC drama The Family in 2016. Perry was a regular character in the ABC political drama Scandal that starred her dad. That same year the actress was selected to play a young model of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again playing a young model of the mother's role. The role was selected through an audition, even the fact that she had a deep association with it.
