Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and animal rights advocate in America. The actress is famous for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). The desire to become an artist was in part influenced by her upbringing as a member of an New York family of artists. She began working as a photographer's assistant, and later moved into acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in two of her films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international recognition along with several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. With just three releases MacGraw was named the top female box-office start in the world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her name and footprints hand-engraved. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV series The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw married three people.
